Which data is collected?

Our website collects personal information you actively provide (for example, when you sign up for a dealer contact or newsletter). Personal data is understood to be information about personal or factual circumstances of a specific or identifiable person. Furthermore, the website automatically collects user data arising from your access, ie. Host name of the accessing computer, IP address, user name, date and time of the respective access.

The website uses so-called "cookies". These are files that are stored on your computer during your visit at our website and that your browser "remembers". They serve to recognize regularly returning visitors of a page.

In addition, we use so-called counting pixels to support online advertising. These are small image files built into the website to collect traffic. This allows us to evaluate how many visitors visited our pages and which advertisements they accessed. The information collected with cookies and pixels does not include your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address.

For what purposes is the data used?

We use "your" data in accordance with the law to process your requests or fulfill any service requested by you. Processing and use of this data for advertising purposes as well as transmission to third parties is only done with your consent. You can revoke a given consent at any time with effect for the future. We process user data for the secure processing your order. Within the scope of the legal provisions, data may also be used to create usage profiles using pseudonyms for purposes of advertising, for market research and to suit our services as required, but only to the extent you have not exercised your statutory right to contradict the use of this data.

Counting pixels are used by us solely for statistical purposes to collect anonymous traffic.

Click & Collect

Information on data protection for "Click & Collect" reservations and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) can be found in the data protection information described below as well as in our "Click and Collect" data protection declaration and our general data protection declaration at en/legal/datenschutz.

a) You can make a non-binding reservation for the desired product using the reservation form at your selected branch of our Loewe partner dealer. It is not necessary to create a customer account. You will find the contact details of your selected partner dealer when you enter your postcode within your order form on the "Click & Collect" landing page. To carry out the reservation, we need your full name, your e-mail address and your mobile phone number for any queries.

b) To reserve an item, the following data must be entered (mandatory fields):

⦁ Mobile phone number

This data is required so that we can process your reservation together with our partner dealer. The mobile phone number serves in particular the purpose of being able to reach you at short notice if the reserved item is exceptionally not in stock or, for example, first has to be procured from the stock of another branch of our partner dealer. In such a case, we or the partner dealer you have selected would like to be able to contact you even if you have already set off and can no longer be reached by e-mail in good time.

Failure to provide your data would mean that you would not be able to use the reservation function of "Click & Collect".

c) Your data is first transmitted to us via the reservation form (SSL encryption) and processed there. We will then forward your data by e-mail to the partner dealer you have selected in order to process your reservation. The partner dealer and we store and process the data transmitted by you exclusively for the purpose of processing your reservation request. It will not be used for advertising purposes unless you have separately and expressly consented to such further use.

d) The legal basis for the processing of your data in connection with a "Click & Collect" reservation is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lt. b DS-GVO.

We delete the data processed in this context after the storage is no longer necessary or restrict the processing if there are legal retention obligations. This is the case, for example, if you do not collect the non-binding reserved item from the partner retailer you have selected.

Loewe App.

The Loewe App makes your Loewe television even easier to use. We do not store any personal data when using the App. Only for the provision of certain services (such as mobile recording and TV program data) may it be necessary to transfer some data to and store it on a Loewe server. These are deleted immediately after execution.

Voice control via Amazon Alexa.

With the Alexa Skill you can control your Loewe television via your Amazon Alexa.

To activate this function in the TV, the Alexa Skill must be activated in your Amazon App and connected to the Loewe television. Loewe does not record any function data after activation. Only the provision of certain services (such as TV program data) may require the transfer to and storage of some data on a Loewe server. This data is deleted immediately after it has been transferred.

Please note that you have authorised Amazon to process your usage data in order to ensure that the voice control or direct control function functions smoothly. If you no longer agree to the collection or transfer of this data, you can deactivate the Alexa Skill.

Newsletter

We send newsletters to registered interested parties. If you have registered for our newsletter, we will collect, process and use your personal data exclusively for the distribution of the newsletter. A link to unsubscribe from the newsletter is included in every e-mail.

Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics also uses cookies that are stored on users' computers and that allow an analysis of their use of the website. The information generated by cookies is usually transmitted to a Google server in the US and stored there.

IP anonymisation has been activated on this website, so the IP address of the users of Google within the Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area is shortened beforehand. Facebook Pixel

Our website works with Vimeo, an internet service of Vimeo Inc. USA. Vimeo collects personal identifiable data in the United States when using such services. This data is mainly used for the provision of the services offered by Vimeo, but also forwarded to third parties. Data may also be used to promote Vimeo products, sometimes too to promote products of third parties. Data is stored at Vimeo on the basis of the data directive used there. YouTube
 

For the integration of YouTube videos we use the so-called "Extended Privacy Mode", offered by YouTube. A cookie is stored on your computer only when playing a corresponding video. You can avoid any storage of data on YouTube by not clicking on any video. According to YouTube, no personal data is stored in the extended privacy mode.
