Kronach, 19.April 2021. The traditional German company Loewe stands for outstanding design and is successfully continuing this legacy under new management: With ten awards at the iF Product Design Awards, Loewe dominates the product design category and impresses the 98-member international jury of experts across the board. The company also scored points at the Red Dot Awards, where Loewe won another six awards.
New record: Ten iF Design Awards.
The prestigious iF Design Award is presented once a year by the world's oldest independent design institution, iF International Forum Design GmbH in Hanover. For this year's edition, the experts had to evaluate nearly 10,000 entries from 52 countries. With ten awards, Loewe achieved a new record here and is once again pleased to receive the particularly sought-after iF Gold Award.
In the TV segment, Loewe secured the attractive design awards for the Loewe bild s.77 models as well as the Loewe bild v and Loewe bild i product lines. All the products are models that were newly developed after the company's relaunch last year.
Loewe also achieved strong results with the audio products Loewe klang bar mr5 & sub5, the smart radios of the Loewe klang s series and the multi-room speakers of the Loewe klang mr family. This means that the audio products, which will be successively available from retailers from May 2021, are already starting out with a top-class hallmark of quality.
Not only the excellent design, but also the users and the intuitive user experience are part of the company's DNA and are consistently the focus of the developers. Loewe was also able to convince the iF jurors in this field and won additional awards for the Loewe remote control and the new my Loewe app.
Retailers and end customers are also eagerly awaiting the launch of the new We. by Loewe brand, which is now close to market launch. Here, the Bluetooth speakers of the We. by Loewe HEAR series and the TV sets of the We. by Loewe SEE TV range received awards. We. SEE, the new TV line was even honored with one of only 75 iF Gold Awards given out in total.
Loewe wins six Red Dot Awards.
In the second internationally recognized design competition, the Red Dot Award, Loewe was likewise able to convince with its products and solutions. Six of the coveted prizes went to Kronach.
In the TV segment, the Loewe bild s and Loewe bild i lines were the most impressive, while in the audio product category, the combination of Loewe klang bar5 mr and sub5 as well as the new Loewe klang s line of smart radios achieved strong results.
The Red Dot judges were also impressed by the user-friendly Loewe remote control and awarded the new remote control as well as the Bluetooth speakers of the new We. by Loewe HEAR brand.

The winners of the Red Dot Awards 2021 will be published on the competition website (https://red-dot.org) on June 21, 2021. All winning products will also be on display at the Red Dot Design Museum Essen from this date and will also be published in the four-volume Red Dot Design Yearbook 2021/2022.
